This is totally junk product. It didn't work for me, infact the adapter just melted ! Luckily no major harm done. Shame on digipower that they consistently release junk products. Previously they had useless AA NiMH batteries which didn't hold charge for even half an hr. Consider twice before you buy anything from this [] company. Its just not worth your time or money.
Customer Review: Power up your digital camera
I purchased this for my Fuji FinePix 2600Zoom. The AC Adapter supplies 3 volts DC @ 1.5 Amps. The unit is UL listed and has fold back plug prongs so the plug is out of the way for storage by folding back into the transformer. The cord is 9' long and is sturdy. An indicator LED is on the transformer to let you know when it is plugged in and providing power. While I have had no problems with battery life on my camera I wanted to have this adapter as I plan on using the camera's web-cam feature. Also it will be nice to have for taking pictures in the house when a flash will be needed (like the kids birthday party) With the adapter you can set the cameras power save option off and just have the camera ready all the time. And no need keeping the lcd screen off to save energy. All in all if you use your camera alot you will probably want one of these. Works great and much cheaper than Fuji branded item.

If you like to experiment with photography and have the Finepix digital, these lenses are a good investment. The colored lenses will give you some really cool color enhancements to your shots. Also, the clear lens is great just to protect the coating on your camera lens from scratches. It is much safer to clean finger prints and dust from the filter than from your lens surface!

NOT THE PRODUCT I ORDERED! I ordered the item by Opteka and got a product made by BOWER. 47th Street didn't notify me of the substitution, didn't ASK if a substitution was satisfactory. They just charged me and sent it! The item may be a satisfactory substitution and appears to be good quality, however it WASN'T WHAT I ORDERED! I will not do business with 47th Street in future and I will stop payment on this item and return it to them if they reimburse me for cost plus shipping both ways.

I purchased this external flash in hopes to assist my flash with my camera. The product is not user friendly. The flash may work well for others that have some training in photography, but I could not get the flash to work properly with my hot shoe. You can not use your camera on auto function with this flash.

Get the WP300 instead if you want an ultra cheap shallow water case for your expensive Fuji camera. The lens extension on the WP400 is only 18mm. Even using the 3mm zoom extension provided, the long 3X lenses of the Fuji cameras bump into the front cover and retract - hopefully without damage. This case is a glorified zip-lock bag with an attached lens extension. Cost less than 10% of the selling price to produce in Korea. Difficult to even push the shutter and other buttons and virtually impossible to turn any knobs or dials on the camera.

Customer Review: Easy to use but....
This is my 3rd digital camera (in last 12 years) and it is very easy to use. It has a great zoom and the features are easy to find without consulting the manual. Picture quality is better than my old digital. My only issue so far is that often my big thumb on my right hand seems to accidentally press one of the buttons on the back when holding the camera to take a picture, usually the mode menu button. I either need to cut off my thumb or Fuji needs to move that button.

I was very cautious when I saw this kit, but decided to get it and I was very pleased with the contents of the kit. First off, all the each of the lenses came in its own case and the filter kit was a great addition to the set. The tripod is very sturdy, the wide angle lens was a two for one since it had a macro lens that can be detached and used separately, this was truly a great buy and I would recommend this to anyone with a hybrid camera and want to take better pictures.

Good camera for taking eBay auction pics Decent picture quality / decent battery life / but some gripes are the cradle ( if included ) stopped recharging the battery, you can't just mainline the power cord to the camera to recharge the battery, you have to use the cradle. The included 16MB card is good for about 8 high res shots, you definitely need to upgrade the card to a 512MB or better, BUT YOU CAN STILL ONLY SHOOT 60 SECONDS OF VIDEO at a time no matter how big the card is. This was disappointing since we expected to be able to shoot continuous video until the card is full The anti red eye is hardly that, you'll still get red eyes when the camera triple flashes during a shot. The menus are easy to figure out, the power switch is quite simple, just open the lens cap and lens zooms open. Macro pics are decent, we use this camera to take close up shots for our eBay auctions and our sales have improved since.

Customer Review: Two great years... then all downhill
I've had this camera for almost two years. When I first got this camera I noticed the red eye was quite significant. Turned on red eye reduction and everything was ok. After about 1 1/2 years with this camera, I found that the pictures started to have stripes running through them. In order to stop this from happening, I would have to turn off the camera and turn it back on and the pictures would be ok. Fully charged or now, this would happen after a few pictures were taken. Most recently, at year 2, I took pictures on vacation all week. Came home and the camera said card read error. All of the pictures were gone. Both the camera and the memory card were Fuji. Still working to recover the pictures and determine the problem. Will not buy a fuji product again.
Customer Review: do yourself a favor, don't buy this camera!
I owned a Canon A60 for a number of years, which I loved. However last year I decided that I would like to upgrade to a sleeker, lighter camera with a larger screen, and more megapixels and decided on the F460. What a mistake! Although this camera has all of these attributes, it takes terrible pictures. Unless I am in the absolute brightest light my pictures are consistently out of focus... which completely negates the point of having a higher resolution camera. If you are shopping for a digital camera, get something that has the software to compensate for vibrations or movements while you are taking a picture. Otherwise everything will be out of focus (I guess unless you cart around a tri-pod, which also defeats the purpose of buying a light-weight camera. Less than a year after purchasing this camera I am shopping for a new digital camera.

I received a Fujifilm FinePix 2650 digital camera for Xmas in 2002. I have had much fun using it. However, I thought time had arrived to get an "up grade", namely a Fujifilm FinePix E900. I am amazed at the things one can do with this camera. I like to take pictures of my Grandson when he participates in track meets. The "continuous shooting" mode allows me to get great pictures of him in the center of a picture.

My family has used this camera for serveral months and we are very happy with it for point-and-shoot. We recommend it. Like any camera, it goes through AA batteries fast, so we have a stock of NiMH AA batteries that we recharge (making sure we discharge them as much as possible to avoid the 'battery memory' problem). The only complaint is blurry pictures (from motion blur - auto focus is fine). It seems the only setting that works consistently is the 'fast motion' setting. The "AUTO" setting is the worst - camera takes too long to snap the image and the action is always past (hard to make little kids be still for a picture).

When the flash arrived, the plastic housing over the bulb was cracked. I called the company and was given the option of mailing the flash back at my own expense for a replacement...but I should mention that the 'call back' process to the company in itself was a challenge...not user friendly and the customer service rep on the other end was short on customer service. Basically I felt that it was "my" problem to solve, not theirs. They could also not guarantee a return date for the replacement flash, which I purchased for my step daughter's wedding scheduled in one months time. The "slave" portion worked great in testing at home and in some preliminary use ... come the weekend of the wedding, and it stopped working all together for no reason (we replaced batteries, checked and rechecked the mechanisms). But the "30 day return" policy has expired so I'm the proud owner of a slave flash that doesn't work. Can't recommend either the product or the company.

I bought this bag and its great!!! I put into it a Kodak Easy Share camera, the SLR design and it fit perfectly and with room to spare. I love all the extra pockets and zippers. The shoulder strap is nice and sturdy and didn't break. The bag handle is a good size too. I have the best of all worlds. The bag houses all my cables, memory cards, batteries. Its not too big, not too small. I've searched all over for a Kodak bag and couldn't find one for this money. Even the cheapest made ones are a lot more then this. This kit is a gathering of separate items combined by the seller, rather than a group of accessories purpose-designed for the F480. This is confirmed by the separate packagings of the batteries and case. The two batteries even came in different style boxes although they appear to be the same. The Vanguard Lagos 5 case is made in China. The battery boxes are labeled, "CTA Digital Accessories", Brooklyn New York. When I first used the case the fit seemed snug, making it a bit difficult to insert the camera and more difficult to remove it. However, I found that pushing up on the inserted camera from the bottom of the case makes the removal process quite acceptable. There is more than a 1/2" (approx 1.5cm) gap between the sides of the case and the velcro-fastened closing flap. Because of this, in inclement weather it would probably be best to insure that at least the top of the case is inside a jacket or coat. However, the case does have a number of excellent features that go someway to counter some minor deficiencies. Its tight fit means the F480 will not accidentally slip out, and its 'form fit' to the camera means the case is about as small as possible, while still providing room to store a few accessories. These accessories can be stored in the case's front double zippered (a nice touch) storage compartment. The compartment opens wide, almost like opening a mouth. However, it only has room for a minimal set of accessories, e.g., a single battery and one or possibly two SD cards, with this complement the zipper(s) just makes it closed. With even the two batteries, as provided with this kit, the compartment becomes too `fat' for the zippers to be closed without problem. The belt connecter is made up of a leather loop joined by velcro, that can easily be placed on and off a belt or other, even fairly wide, strap. The CTA batteries fit without problem in both the F480 and its charger. They charged relatively quickly out of the box, and worked in the camera without problem. I have not had this kit long enough to comment on battery longevity, or leakage, but so far they have worked without flaw. The cost of two clone batteries by themselves almost equals the cost of the kit, and the camera case provides good impact protection without adding excessive size. It also looks `expensive'. Overall, after having 'hands-on' experience with this kit, I would not hesitate to purchase it again.

Customer Review: Great Accessory for a Great camera
I love the F31d and this housing is the perfect solution for taking underwater snaps. The desiccant packs that are provided are very useful since using the housing in very humid areas will cause some condensation in the case once you move the camera from a warm moist air (when you put the camera in the case) to a cool underwater environment. The functionality of the case is brilliant. The tricky part to the photography is staying steady and making sure you set the camera white balance to underwater. I find that correcting the levels on each of the red, green, blue channels of the image is still necessary to recreate correct underwater colors. Auto levels in Photoshop/Photoshop elements will get you close. I find that the camera gets really hot if you use the case out of the water but, it still takes nice pictures despite the extra glass in front of the lense.
Customer Review: Great underwater housing...
Perhaps the best thing about the advent of small digital compacts has been the introduction of relatively inexpensive underwater housings for them. I have little to add to what others have said, this is an excellent housing that allows for full control of the camera. I'd add just a few notes to make sure you have the right expectations for underwater photography: - Underwater photography is pretty hard. You typically have very low light levels and severe color casts. The F30/F31 are excellent cameras to start with since they handle low light well and they have a halfway decent underwater mode. That said, still be prepared for far, far fewer good shots underwater than you get on land. - Video is easier and more satisfying than stills often. If you find your results frustrating with the still shots, turn on the video mode and give it a try. - Focusing and tracking is hard. These compacts are all a bit slow in focusing and shutter release and fish are very fast. This makes things quite a challenge. You'll probably want to start with pictures where both you and the subject are not moving. - People who've done underwater photography will tell you it is not "if" your housing floods but rather "when" will it flood. Follow the directions religously. Minimize the number of times you open the housing, the F30 has amazing battery life and the 1GB cards hold a lot of pictures. If you are going back in the water and don't need a battery charge and still have space on the card then don't open the housing! Just rinse it with fresh water and take in down on your next dive. Everytime you open and reseal a housing (any housing, even one costing thousands of dollars) there is a risk of leak. Always test the seal before going on a dive! So, with all that in mind, a F30 with this housing is a wonderful way to begin underwater photography, but remember it is much more difficult than shore based photography so be patient and look for articles on the web to help you out.

My wife and I were married in July of 2004. I was particularly excited to bring my Sony DSC F717 along on the Honeymoon to St. Barth's, since I enjoy amateur photography. I was further excited by the prospect of going snorkeling, and wondered if I could combine these two interests. Enter EWA's underwater housing. Through research I found that there are several brands of underwater housings available for my camera, but most of those cost more than US$1,000.00, and can be prohibitively large to travel with as a result of being a hard case vs. EWA's soft bag. I was impressed to find the EWA housing at such a low cost comparatively, and made my purchase. I was scared at first to place my VERY expensive camera in the water in what looked to be a fancy zip lock bag! Despite literature ensuring that the housing had been tested at the factory, I filled my tub and submerged the bag (without my camera). PERFECT! There was absolutely no leakage! Just to be safe, I suggest you do the same. (Motivate yourself by the thought of accidentally destroying your camera) The camera is inserted into the bag by an opening that is a little small, but keep in mind that my camera (Sony DSC F717) has a particularly odd shape when compared with other cameras. Once inside the housing, the camera is secured to the housing by attaching a special frame to the tripod mount (never fear, all of this equipment is included with the housing - no need to buy accessories for this accessory!) The instructions for doing this are a little unclear - a few photos, and written in German - and it took a little experimentation to get it right. I used the smallest piece of metal along with the tripod mounting screw, which mounts directly into a high density plastic ring that fits into the glass port, all of this holding your camera snugly in the housing. Save yourself the frustration of losing valuable diving time at the beach: have this all figured out before you leave home. A little experimentation can go a long way. Once the camera is secured in the housing, the bag seals with two pieces of metal designed (very nicely, I will add) to create a pressure induced seal and keep water OUT! There are three screws to secure on the seal, and it only takes a few seconds to get going after this. I practiced taking some photos on dry land just to see how the photos actually come out. (I advise doing this to become comfortable with operating your camera while in the housing.) On land, it's basically easy to use, especially if you know how to use your camera to its full potential. The bag has a "finger sleeve" to allow operation of the shutter and other nearby functions. The positioning takes getting used to, but since this is a generic housing designed to fit several cameras I expected this. I was able to maintain function over nearly all of my camera, since most operations are done around the shutter button. Other buttons around the viewfinder screen were easily pushed due to the flexibility of the bag. And speaking of buttons, those of you with a DSC F717 had better start getting used to using the button zoom, versus the zoom ring around the lense. The housing prevents you from using the ring function (one of my favorite functions for that camera, and part of the reason I rated the housing 4 out of 5). The photos are unaffected by the lens of the housing, which is exactly as described in product literature: optically neutral. Now for the excitment: In the water. I like to use the manual functions of my camera, because I like control over the aperture, shutter speed, etc. Once you add the pressure of the water against the housing, it becomes more difficult to change settings, including the already limited zoom funtion (if you have a DSC F717). By the time you get what you need, your subject already swam away! It is probably best to keep the camera on automatic. By the way, water pressure accidentally activating any of the camera's buttons was never an issue. Keep in mind that this housing is not designed for use of an external flash, and because of the design of the DSC F717 I was unable to use the camera's flash underwater. There is not much light underwater, causing the auto setting to leave the shutter open longer. Result: blurry photos (remember: it's not easy to keep still while swimming). It took a few days to learn that extreme patience may be involved in some of these photos, especially when taken at greater depths. Of course, that problem would be solved with an external light, which is not an option on ANY of EWZ's housings, but IS available on nearly all hard cases. Another reason I rated it a 4 out of 5. Seeing what you are actually taking a picture of can sometimes be a challenge as well. I could easily see the viewfinder in my on-land experiements, but wasn't prepared for what I saw underwater - nothing! The housing material is reflective underwater which creates a slight mirrored effect, depending on whether the screen is/is not right up against the housing (up against it was better, incidentally). On my second outing, I changed the screen's backlight settings to "high" (which also cuts battery life) and that helped. Eventually I realized that I had the most difficulty when photographing from above, and I began using my hand to shield the screen. Basically, you may be reduced to point, shoot, and pray for the best. (Take along a large memory stick so that you can photograph without worrying about quality vs. quantity, and wait until you get home to erase the extras - you won't be able to see those little tiny fish in your 2 inch screen anyway.) In the beginning, I found my photos to be very green in color, which was NOT a result of the housing (I thought I should include this solution so you can purchase the correct filter BEFORE you go diving). Luckily, I had several filters with me, and found that a polarizing filter works fantastically. All photos from that point on were beautiful, and natural looking. Please make sure that you have a good sized memory stick (or other compatible media for your camera). I found that for every 25 pictures I took underwater, only one or two were worth the oohs and aahs I was hoping to receive from my family. Overall, the price was by far the best reason to purchase this housing. If you have the money to buy a serious camera and are tired of overpaying for accessories, this is the housing you should purchase. With the money I saved from not buying the hard-case, I was able to purchase my airfare to St. Barth's!
